CTRL+ALT+SZZL
CTRL+ALT+SZZL brings together five BIPOC bands to perform a showcase highlighting punk, alternative, and experimental music. The lineup includes Cat Crash, an all-trans, AAPI-led indie riot grrrl band from Connecticut; ENiAM from Portland, exploring anti-capitalism and anti-colonialism through moody synth-grooves and jazz drums; LOVEXRAGE, a Black revolutionary collective from Boston using music as a tool for resistance; Dark Wound, performing ritualistic black metal from Portland; and Verano Angel, a Portland-based duo blending rock and folk influences. The event is a Sonic Visions commission with support from the Onion Foundation.
