Thursday Bird Walk

Participants will meet at the Gilsland Farm Visitor Center parking lot for a slow-paced walk around the property, listening and looking for birds across the farm's varied habitats. The walk typically covers one to two miles and takes place on the property's sometimes-damp or icy paths. Binoculars are recommended, though extras are available on-site. This free program is led by Maine Audubon's staff naturalist Doug Hitchcox and other experienced guides.
